Silver
Let's get to know silver better
Silver is an incredibly durable material, even stronger than gold. In addition to its lightness, its strength makes it the ideal choice for jewellery that is worn daily or very often. In fact, it hardly deforms and scratches, remaining intact for a long time.
Wearing silver helps one to be more mentally resilient, to free one’s emotions and to free oneself from external influences and dependencies, it increases the ability to empathise with the situations of others, it increases imagination and fantasy, in which creativity finds a new and free way.
It has been established that wearing jewellery made of this metal has a positive effect on the functioning of the heart, during contact with the human body, a small and almost imperceptible impulse occurs. It therefore charges the heart, as well as other important organs, with positive ions. As far as a person’s use of jewellery is concerned, several facts remain undeniable; it has been tested by many and really works on those who complain of constant headaches and irritability, promoting a state of calm, concentration and balance.
La storia
The colour silver symbolises good fortune and is rich in deep symbolic meanings. It represents the colour of wisdom, success, self-confidence and independence, without being swayed by what others say.
Moreover, another of the greatest symbolisms this colour has is purity and it is strongly associated with healing and purity.
The visual sensation usually associated with silver is that of seeing the shimmer of the metal.
Its name is derived from the Greek argos, meaning shining because of its exceptional power to reflect light. Its brilliance cannot be reproduced by a simple colour, because the shiny effect is due to the brightness of the material varying at every angle of the surface to the light source.
This pure and precious metal in magic is often used to reflect negative energies, to protect against the dangers of water, to attract good luck and love and especially to propitiate the favours of the moon, its high reflective power is connected because of its great resemblance to the colour we can perceive from the moon in fact it is said that “silver is the metal of the moon” known as a sacred symbol is the keeper of secret knowledge.
This element has for centuries been referred to as the ‘lunar metal‘ due to its properties, derived from the reflection of sunlight on the moon, of absorbing lower vibrations.

The element of silver
Over time, it has always been used in magic to create objects with magical properties. It is no coincidence that silver is also used within certain rituals where the natural purification of water and an increase in energy is required. During full moon rituals, devotees of the Moon Goddess ring silver bells to invoke her presence.
Silver has therefore become the undisputed protagonist in the production of jewellery, lucky charm talismans and protective amulets that enhance the wearer’s intuition. The pure energy embedded in it is also capable of opposing the darkest external effects.
At its brightest, it can be seen in a whitish and indeed, silvery hue. It is therefore a nocturnal colour that survives the dark thanks to its powerful luminosity and the forces that act upon it.
It has held a particular fascination throughout the ages: in medieval alchemy, for example, it was believed to have magical properties that could keep evil spirits away.
In northern European countries, an unusual proverb is used to indicate someone very lucky: ‘Born with a silver spoon in one’s mouth’, which literally translated means ‘Born with a silver spoon in one’s mouth’.
